Welcome to the San Luis Valley

Archaeological Network Web Site

The San Luis Valley Archaeological Network promotes the study, awareness and preservation of the area's archaeology. The Network encourages the scientific exploration and research, the conservation and preservation of archaeological sites and materials, and the interpretation and publication of the attendant data. To accomplish this mission and goals, the Network will:

  • provide opportunities for active participation in San Luis Valley archaeology
  • provide educational outreach programs which inform the public of the San Luis Valley's rich archaeological heritage
  • supply leadership and resources to support the mission
